Description
The S350MS thumb-type laser methane remote sensor consists of an optoelectronic system, a signal processing system, a display and alarm system, and a housing component. It is primarily used for remote measurement of methane or methane-containing gases (natural gas, coal gas, or similar gases). It can be widely used for rapid location detection in gas pipeline networks.
The laser methane remote sensor emits a beam of infrared laser to the detection point, enabling rapid measurement of the gas concentration between the detection point and the remote sensor. For ease of observation, the sensor also emits a visible green laser beam to the detection point simultaneously. This sensor can real-time and accurately detect methane concentration at the inspected location, display and store the data, and provide audible and visual alarms when the concentration exceeds the alarm threshold, enabling personnel to take appropriate actions.
